Litovel Plant Z2 is already performing at 65% of its planned capacity
April 2008
In mid-October of last year, a new factory building Z2 was commissioned in Litovel. The area of app. 7,000 m2 is used for sheet working and steel part manufacture (previously, burnouts). As the number of jobs are rising, the plant is currently performing at 65% of its planned capacity. We expect to achieve the maximum capacity before the end of this year. In Litovel, sheet cutting (2+8 new machines), grinding, drilling, bevelling, press braking, blasting are performed and levelling and CNC machining are prepared. As optimum, Plant 2 is designed to prepare steel materials, able to produce at app. 30% lower cost than comparable competitors in long term. The larger volume the company is processing, the higher material efficiency and productivity they implement, and the better conditions may be offered to customers. In overall, TENZO is the leading steel service center in the industry with five manufacturing plants in the Central Europe with the capacity of 32 parting machines.
