Steel part

This is basically formed of pieces cut from steel sheet metal, which is further treated (drilling, bending, beveling, shot blasting, etc.).

Special qualities

Generally, these are all qualities other than S235xxxx, `S275xxxx, S355xxxx and their equivalents. This means steel categorized as boiler, abrasion resistant, high-strength, microalloy, carbon etc.

Welding consumables

Materials, spare parts and ex. protective equipment for welders and also small equipment of welding workshops. Welding wire makes up the largest volume.

Roll scale

The small layer of non-homogeneous material on the surface of every rolled steel product. Roll scale is removed industrially as a rule by an acid cleaning process or by shot blasting.

Shot blasting

Removal of contamination, rust and roll scale from the surface of steel parts. It is possible to use hand (for weldments) or regular blasters (for sheet metals, profiles and steel pieces).

Beveling

Preparation of the steel piece for welding. Thermal or mechanical beveling of edges of pieces based on the welding engineering regulation. The area along the cant when welding is filled with welding metal created from electrodes or welding wire, thereby assuring a much stronger weld. For heat beveling, it is possible to use hand, machine or automatic conveyance of the beveling source.

Cut part

Part made of sheet metal produced by thermal cutting by one of the following technologies – cutting by flame (ex. oxygen-acetylene), plasma, or laser. Without any further treatment.
